Keep looking.
Persistence pays off.
Mike left yesterday with his dad to go to San Antonio for a reunion of WWII veterans that his grandfather was a part of.
They were having a formal dinner and needed a coat and tie. Mike has a lot of dress shirts and ties from working at the church but we never got around to getting him a jacket.
Well, we looked at our favorite thrift store 3 times with no luck. Finally we hit a different thrift store the day before he left and found one. It was half price day so it was only $3! Yeah!!! He's going to look real snazzy even if I do say so myself! :-)
The point is to keep looking usually you can find anything you need used if you keep at it.

We love the thrift stores too! I find great clothes all the time. The DAV stores in Wichita seem to have great deals. I like their sales, with half off on yellow or blue or whatever tags each week.
We also like the thrift stores and the goodwill stores. My wife has found that she has better luck at finding clothes that fit her in thrift stores as they are already "pre-shrunk". I also need to wear shirts at work with our company logo on them. We have found one thrift store in our city that seems to have on a regular basis shirts that have been donated with my company's logo. They seem practically brand new! The last time we went we purchased an ENTIRE large bag of clothes for only $2.50!!
LOL. we love thrift stores too. That is where I buy everyone's clothes............
We LIVE in San Antonio! Woo Hoo! LOL.
