Paint problem
I figured out what I did wrong on the dresser.
I put kilz on it for primer but it was latex and not oil based. I may try sanding it down and putting oil based on and see if that works. I am almost postive that's what I did wrong. I thought primer, was primer but I guess not!

I have never had much luck with Kilz. We had a fire here a couple of months ago, so the insurance company paid professional painters to come and paint several rooms. They only used Kilz in small areas where the greasy residue from 'Sticky Tack' might bleed through. I have a few spots outside that keep peeling, which I have unsuccesfully tried Kilz on. The painter said use a good 'binding' primer for general uses, not Kilz.
I checked on the KILZ web site - they have a lot of information. Checking it should remedy your problem.
