Oprah's Debt Diet.
I got the nicest thank you note today! I sent a book to all the couples on the debt diet that Oprah is doing and Sally Eggleston sent me a thank you note saying how much she liked it!! I am so glad she will find it useful. For some reason I was thinking she would be the one who would use the most too!
I really do hope all those couples get the help they need and can find freedom in their finances. There's not a lot worse than having that burden hanging over your head.

I agree w/ you in that I also think that the Egglestons would use your book. I also think that it was the Egglestons who wanted the most to get out of debt and were the most willing out of all the families to downsize a bit. I know that the Bradleys and the Windlunds wanted to get out of debt too, but I wonder if maybe at first they just expected all of their debts to just magically disappear after a couple of weeks of cutting back on a few of the little things. The Bradley woman I think her name is Lisa, refuses to give up her weekly hair appointments, the Windlund woman, can't remember her name, was hiding debit cards. Of course, I could be wrong, maybe the Egglestons had a just as hard time, or even harder, than everybody else. I'm interested in why the Egglestons haven't been on the last two shows, guess I'd have to check out Oprah's web site for that info.
I know this may sound totally insane, but I've been reading your blog for a few months now ... and only recently realized that I have your "Dining on a Dime" cookbook and use it all the time.
