Glazed Nuts
These are yummy! Be sure you have someone around to help you eat them. :-) Tawra
Glazed Nuts
1 ½ cups sugar
½ cup water
½ cup honey
1 lb. mixed unsalted nuts
½ tsp. vanilla
Mix sugar, honey and water in saucepan. Bring to boil and cook, without stirring to 252 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in nuts and vanilla. Let cool slightly. Stir again until creamy. Place on waxed paper and separate nuts with fingers. When cool put in small jars and decorate. You can use just one kind of nuts if you like. Can be stored in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Makes one pound.
