Happy House Painting Dance!!
Saturday we finally finished painting the house. I have one small section around the garage I forgot but I should be able to get it done today in about 5 minutes.
I am soooooooo glad that it's done! That was a HUGE project but it will up the value of the house if we decide to sell next year and it is just good in general to keep your house maintained.
Overall we spent $45 on paint and about 30 hours worth of work. We saved over $2,000 having someone else do it. That is way worth it!!
I will admit that I was a dead person the 2 Saturdays we spent 7 hours each working on it. Mostly Mike did the hard stuff, I just re-filled his brush and was the "runner" for things while he painted on the ladder.
Don't be afraid to tackle some of these things they really aren't as bad as they look most of the time and it is way worth it to save that kind of money!
