Several readers have asked about our church. We go to church at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. When we lived in Kansas, we joked around that we were the Andover, KS branch because we watched it home with mom and my brother and his family.
We’ve decided to post a teaching from Pastor Bob here each Sunday for those of you would like to enjoy it also.
If you don’t have a church home and can’t attend then you can watch their services live here.
Eastern Standard Time:
Saturdays – 6pm
Sundays – 8am, 10:15am, 12:30pm
Wednesdays – 6:30pm
If you can’t watch it live, here is a message you might like:
From Pastor Fidel Gomez
“A Heart Is Touched, A Life Is Changed”
Aren’t you glad that God does not judge as we do? In this message, Pastor Fidel touches on Zacchaeus’s encounter with Jesus, and how God judges the heart rather than outside appearances. We see how the cross of Christ is truly cross-generational, cross-gender, and cross-cultural.
Enjoy!

I must not have been paying attention. You go to church in Fort Lauderdaler .. .. .. when did you move to FL??
No Chris we haven’t moved to FL. While Tawra and Mike were here in Wichita we could not find a church even though we tried very hard so in desperation my son told us about pastor Bob who you could watch live on the internet so we started gathering together (about 10 of us) and watching him that way. We even had visitors coming to our mini church with us and of course we always had meals together after church. : )
Tawra and Mike now are in Colorado and have started church hunting again but they still watch church in Ft. Lauderdale most Sundays.
