Several readers have asked about our church. We go to church at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale. We joke around that we are the Andover, KS branch because we watch it home with mom and my brother and his family.
We’ve decided to post a teaching from Pastor Bob here each Sunday for those of you would like to enjoy it also.
If you don’t have a church home and can’t attend then you can watch their services live here.
Eastern Standard Time:
Saturdays – 6pm
Sundays – 8am, 10:15am, 12:30pm
Wednesdays – 6:30pm
If you can’t watch it live, here is a message you might like:
From Pastor Bob
Sometimes our flesh gets in the way of us seeing just how big God is in the midst of daily life. Time spent in prayer and fasting can fix this.
Enjoy!
-Jill, Tawra and Mike

Hi Tawra and Jill,
I just wanted to tell you that I tried what you said to do on cleaning up the kitchen.
I too, have fibro, so do not have much energy later in the day, so I like to get my supper fixed and out of the way.
Well, I had just read your 7 steps to a cleaner kitchen.
I wanted to make your hamburger cassrole in Dining on a Dime.
So I got a pan of water to boil for the macaroni.
I got a sinkpan full of hot sudsy water, and washed the few dishes left over from lunch. Kept the water in the sink. Washed off the counters.
By this time the water was boiling for the pasta, so took it off the stove and dropped in the pasta. Stirred once, then put the lid back on, and set the pan aside for 15 minutes.
Put a frying pan on the stove to cook the hamburger and onions.
Put the tomato sauce and spices in an oven safe dish.
Swept the floor, while still watching the hamburger.
By this time, the hamburger was done, so I put it in the pan with the sauce.
Then I drained the macaroni, and put it with the rest of the ingredients in the baking dish.
Stirred it up, put the lid on, and set it in the frig to bake later towards suppertime.
I rewiped the counters.
Mopped the kitchen floor,
My supper is ready
My kitchen is clean
I am a happy lady.
Thanks for the suggestions, and keep up the good work.
Way to go Patty.
